As Import Manager, you will be accountable for all aspects of Import operations including assigned personnel, development of budgets and key performance indicators in your department. You will be responsible for employee performance, productivity and morale. You will pro-actively interact with customer and partner communications, service and business retention. You will seek opportunities to develop transportation profitability and new revenue sources.

You will be responsible for the efficient processing of shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with all regulations to US Customs, DOT, FDA and EPA.

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years industry experience. The last 3 years in a supervisory role. Customs Broker’s (CHB) license is REQUIRED. Prefer but do not require a 4 year college degree.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced office, be team oriented, PC literate with excellent customer service skills and ability to work under time sensitive and customer demands. Great communication, motivation and organizational skills are required.
