Hong Kong airport authority welcomes deal with Taiwan

The Airport Authority Hong Kong has welcomed a new air services arrangement signed by Hong Kong and Taiwan recently. Stanley Hui Hon-chung, the body’s CEO, said that the arrangement will promote business, cultural and leisure ties between Hong Kong and Taiwan. Cargo capacity is expected to increase by more than 70% to 3,000 t a week by mid-2012.
