—BDP International has expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific
region with the formation of BDP Logistics Korea. Ltd. Based
in Seoul, the new entity also has offices at the SEL airport
and Busan, a major port city.
BDP Korea offers a wide range of services, including air and
ocean freight, LCL, FCL warehousing, trucking and various value-added
services. It is fully licensed for NVO operations and air/ocean
consolidations.
“This new operation marks the latest milestone toward
completion of our Asia-Pacific network,” said Peter Huels,
managing director of the BDP Global Network. “We have
been planning a Korean office for some time to serve our client
doing business in this burgeoning market.”
J.D. KO, formerly with Shinhan Freight, BDP’s previous
Korean partner, will serve as managing director of BDP Korea.
In addition, many of Shinhan staff has also joined BDP Korea.
