Cutler to head BDP’s global air transport unit

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. USA, July 14, 2005 – Hugh A. Cutler has joined BDP International® (BDP), a leading privately held global logistics and transportation services company, as president of its global air transportation division.

Cutler brings extensive international operations, sales and strategic management experience to this newly created position. He will report to John Bolte, managing director of BDP Americas and chief transportation officer.

“Hugh Cutler represents a timely, solid addition to BDP’s management team,” said Bolte in announcing the appointment. “His expertise will enhance the value of BDP’s air transportation practice, strengthening our global air network with the resources and the infrastructure our customers will increasingly require to optimize their supply chains.”

As vice president of global transportation at Menlo Worldwide, formerly Emery Worldwide, he was responsible for all air procurement with particular emphasis on North American and European gateways. Cutler managed the design and implementation of the global air process at the company, which included strategic planning for trade flows and quality measurement of internal and external resources. He also has global ocean operations, sales and procurement experience.
