Advisories ::
FAA Emergency Amendment

The FAA has today, September 12, 2001, issued Emergency Amendment (EA) 129-01-03).

This Emergency Amendment is to be implemented immediately. There are a number of additional security measures that have to be put in place and confirmed in writing by the airlines. Most importantly, until further notice, no cargo or mail will be permitted to move via commercial airlines.

At this time no definitive schedule has been approved for the re-opening of US airports. It is believed that the FAA will allow airlines later in the day to re-position empty aircrafts.

We will continue to monitor the situation. When we have further information from the FAA, or other industry sources, we will immediately update all concerned, via e-mail or through direct contact.

Should you have any questions, please contact either myself or any member of the BDP team.
