U.S. Customs operated on a normal schedule in all seaports, with the exception of the port of New York, Newark.

Customs' operating system did not go down during the crisis at the New York World Trade Center on Tuesday, September 11. All entries continued to be processed within normal operating standards.

ACH payments to Customs in the port of New York were granted a "snow" day on Wednesday, September 12, 2001.

Thursday September 13, 2001

Customs ABI system is operating on a normal schedule. All entries are being processed within the normal operating standards.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA):

As of Thursday morning, no new operating procedures have been posted for the handling of air cargo.
