Please remember that the status of any airport or individual carrier can change quickly. These status messages will be issued daily, or as updates require.

Atlanta:
The following air carriers are accepting cargo:
- FedEx: Accepting bookings and cargo.
- New Zealand: To be determined at 12:00 noon (EDT).
- Fine Air: Accepting bookings and cargo.
- Korean Airlines: Accepting bookings, no flight scheduled.
- Mas Air: Accepting bookings, no cargo moving at this time.
Passengers only. - Lan Chile: Accepting bookings, no cargo is moving at this time.

Currently all three New York City area airports are closed. They are expected to open later today.
The following airlines are accepting cargo for freighter service:
- Korean Airlines: Accepting cargo and bookings beyond Sunday.
- Asiania: Accepting cargo, no bookings.
- Federal Express: Accepting freight for international flights. Schedule is to be announced.
- Lan Chile: Will serve all of its destinations in Central and South America via Miami. Cargo tendered at JFK will be trucked to Miami. No flights have been scheduled but cargo is being accepted. Flight details will be provided informed as available. Shipments are limited to loose cargo only, no ULDs.
- Varig: Accepting cargo for VCP flight on Sunday only.
- China Airlines: Accepting cargo will take bookings, no flights scheduled.
- UPS: Operating internationally on a limited basis. More flights to be added over the weekend. UPS is excepting cargo bookings to Central and South America only.
The following airlines are not accepting cargo in accordance with FAA regulations:
- Continental
- American
- South African
- Swiss Air
- Air France
- Lufthansa: All service has been suspended until further notice.
- British Airways: Does not expect to resume service until September 18.
- Pakistan Airlines
- Air India
- Delta
- Northwest
- United Airlines
Chicago:
OHare Airport continues to be closed, with no indication as to when it will re-open.
- Air Canada: May except cargo later today and truck it to Toronto for flights.
- Mas Air Cargo: Accepting cargo for export via Miami.
- Lan Chile: Accepting cargo for export via Miami.
- Polar Accepting cargo, possibly two ( 2) freighters will move to Far East if airport reopens.
- UPS: Accepting cargo for export via Miami.
- China Air: Not accepting cargo, no schedule information available.
- Eva Air: Not accepting cargo, no schedule information available.
- UPS Accepting cargo and bookings to Central and South America only.
- Fine Air: Accepting cargo for export via Miami.
- Swissair: All service has been suspended until further notice.
- Lufthansa: All service suspended until further notice.
- Japan Airlines: Not accepting cargo.
- Korean Airlines: Accepting cargo, no schedule information available.
- Air France: Not accepting cargo. Possible freighter service will be available for export order later today, September 14.
- Alitalia: Not accepting cargo. Possible freighter service will be available for export orders Sunday September 16.
- FedEx: Accepting cargo.
- All domestic carriers are not accepting international cargo at this time.
Miami:
Miami International Airport is open but will likely close later today due to Tropical Storm activity.
- Thursday night, five (5) international flights departed via UPS, Arrow and Polar carriers.
- All major airlines are not accepting bookings or cargo at this time, possibly Saturday, September 15.
- Taca, Tampa, Lan Chile, Amerijet, Staff are accepting freight but not bookings.
- Airport is not accepting inbound flights from foreign carriers until airlines meet new FAA security requirements.
Los Angeles:
LAX is anticipated to reopen at 12 noon (PT).
- Cargolux: Accepting cargo from known shippers only at this time. Will require signed indirect air carrier certification.
- Lufthansa: Not accepting cargo or bookings at this time.
- KLM: Expected to begin accepting bookings by Saturday, September 15.
- Air France: Not accepting bookings or cargo at this time.
- Asiana: Accepting cargo for freighter only at this time.
- Korean Airlines: Accepting cargo for freighter only at this time.
- Swiss Air: Not accepting cargo at this time.
- British Airways: Not accepting cargo at this time.
- United Airlines: Not accepting cargo at this time.
- Delta: Not accepting cargo at this time.
- China Airlines: Not accepting cargo at this time.
- FedEx: Accepting cargo at this time.
Houston:
- Fine Air: Accepting cargo and bookings.
- Federal Express: Accepting cargo.
- Continental Airlines: Expected to start accepting cargo within 48 hours.
- Air France: Not accepting bookings or cargo at this time.
- KLM: Expected to accept bookings on Saturday, September 15.
- Korean Airlines: Expected to accept cargo this weekend.
- British Airways: Not accepting bookings.
- China Airlines: Not accepting bookings.
- Cargolux: Accepting bookings from known shippers only.
