US AIRWAYS is now able to accept cargo.
US Airways has been given authorization by the FAA to resume accepting cargo under the following rules:
1. The cargo must come from a known shipper.
2. If the cargo comes from an Indirect Air Carrier (Forwarder), the shipper must be known to you.
Simply stated, the customer must be a known shipper to either the forwarder or the air carrier.
US Airways expects to operate today, September 17, at 75% of our normal schedule.
US Airways is pleased to resume the business of cargo transport. It is vital to our country's economy and will show the world we are stable and stronger than ever. A lot of things have changed forever, including the way we do business in air cargo transport. But, we will adapt and serve our customers in the best manner possible.
