Adjustment to Specific Customs Fees in 2018

November 10, 2017 - Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently issued a Federal Register notice advising that there will be an adjustment to specific Customs Fees that will go into effect January 2018. 

Normal import fees that are collected presently during the import process will be adjusted as follows:

  • The minimum merchandise processing fee will increase from $25 to $25.67
  • The maximum merchandise processing fee will increase from $485 to $497.99
