BDP International Announces Katherine Harper as Chief Financial Officer

January 21, 2020 - PHILADELPHIA - BDP International (BDP), a leading privately-held global logistics and transportation solutions company, has named Katherine Harper as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). 

Ms. Harper will oversee all aspects of BDP’s financial operations throughout its global network of wholly-owned subsidiaries, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. BDP has 143 offices in 36 countries and nearly 5,000 employees serving customers across a wide range of industry verticals, including chemical, life sciences & healthcare, industrial & manufacturing, retail & consumer, and oil & gas. 

Katherine Harper is a highly experienced financial professional and business leader whose 30-year career has spanned global public and private companies.  Most recently, Ms. Harper was CFO of AgroFresh, a produce freshness solutions company. She has also served as CFO of Tronox, Chief Financial & Business Development Officer, Rio Tinto Diamonds and Minerals Group, and held a variety of other roles. Harper has a track record of delivering financial performance improvement. Her experience includes improving enterprise capital structure and liquidity; multiple acquisitions; driving cost optimization and reduction programs resulting in material savings and cash generation.
