August 3, 2021 – PHILADELPHIA - BDP International (BDP), a leading privately-held global logistics and transportation solutions company, has named Nina Olatoke Vice President, Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Nina will also maintain her current role as vice president, Human Resources for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.
In this role, Nina will be responsible for leading the global efforts of BDP’s DEI program, identifying areas of opportunity and challenges, promoting a collaborative work environment for all, partnering with communities and businesses that support and align with BDP’s DEI commitments, and helping to foster an environment of empathy, understanding, and awareness. She will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer, Marcia Lyssy, and play a pivotal role in BDP’s long range DEI planning, including implementation of programs and initiatives that promote the commitments outlined by the DEI Council.

Nina is a seasoned human resource professional, with experience in leading a multitude of employees with diversified backgrounds and cultural distinctions in various countries. She is currently based out of BDP’s Dubai office in the United Arab Emirates. “Living in Dubai has given me the opportunity to observe and immerse myself in so many different cultures and appreciate the beauty of varying backgrounds and perspectives. I am thrilled to be leading BDP’s DEI global efforts and continuing to build a culture that promotes inclusion, equality, respect, and accountability,” said Olatoke.
