Temporary suspension of cargo acceptance to South China during 2021 CNY

Due to the COVID-19 quarantine requirements for the ship crews onboard to the coastal feeder running between South China and Hong Kong waters, feeder operators announced their services to be suspended from mid-Jan to the end of Feb 2021.

As such, many carriers have begun to announce the suspension of cargo acceptance to numerous destinations within South China, including but not limited to: 

Beijiao, Dongguan, Doumen, Fuqing, Fuzhou, Gaolan, Gaoming, Guigang, Gaoyao,
Haikou, Heshan, Huadu, Huangpu, Huangpu gang, Jiujiang, Jiangmen, Jiaoxin, Kaiping,
Leliu, Lian hua shan, Macau, Nangang, Nanhai, Qingyuan, Quanzhou, Qinzhou, Rongqi,
Sanshui, Shantou, Shatian, Shenwangang, Shuidong, Shunde, Taiping, Taishan,
Wuzhou, Xiamen, Xiaolan, Xinhui, Xintang, Yantian, Yuangpu, Yunfu, Zhanjiang,
Zhaoqing, Zhongshan, Zhuhai.

Please note, this temporary suspension is applicable for shipments with estimated arrival dates from January 5, 2021 to February 26, 2021, arriving via feeder (transshipment) services. 

Several carriers have already announced suspensions, and we expect others to announce the same in the coming days. BDP International is working closely with the ocean carriers and will keep our customers apprised of any feeder service updates or changes.
