BDP USA Security Surcharge Notification
To our valued customers: BDP International will increase our Security Surcharge by .05 per kilo based on chargeable weight effective on 14 July 2014.
We are preparing ourselves for the further tightening of official security requirements. This means that fulfilling customs requirements, such as ACAS (Air Cargo Advance Screening) in the USA and the associated new technical developments and increased personnel expenses.
In keeping with our tradition of providing our customers with an advance notification of Security Surcharge adjustments, please be advised the surcharge in effect on 14 July 2014 for U.S. origin freight will be as follows:

United States All Destinations $0.25/kg
The surcharge is applicable to the chargeable weight of each air waybill and subject to a $25.00 minimum, and will remain in effect until further notice.
