Our commitment to corporate citizenship

Supporting our corporate values.

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

As social, political and global economic challenges (and opportunities) affect business more than ever before, companies recognize the need to partner with governments, civil society, labor and the United Nations. The growing need to establish these initiatives in business is reflected in the Global Compact’s rapid growth. With over 9,500 corporate participants and stakeholders from over 160+ countries, it is the largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative in the world.

BDP International recognizes the need to collaborate with these organizations that ensure good corporate citizenship and fully align with our own values and principles.

BDP is an active member in the UN Global Compact (UNGC). The UNGC is a voluntary strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. By doing so, business, as a primary driver of globalization, can help ensure that markets, commerce, technology, and finance advance in ways that benefit economies and societies everywhere.

Mission of the UN Global Compact

2. Take strategic actions to advance broader societal goals, such as theUN Sustainable Development Goals, with emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
